WINSLOW & DISTRICT ART SOCIETY

The Society was established over 30 years ago to support the development of the arts in the area around Winslow, Buckinghamshire UK. Demonstration meetings are held monthly, usually on the last Thursday of the month (exceptions being in November and December) The Society programme of Demonstrations and talks runs from September to July. Monthly meetings are held at the Winslow Bowls Club Elmfield Gate, Winslow, MK18 3NR From 7-30pm to 9-30 pm IN ADDITION to our Monthly Demonstration Meetings, we run two weekly painting groups ( in Winslow and Padbury ) which give group members the chance of gaining practical advice and support from other members. Painting Group numbers are limited to the space available, and those attending share the small extra costs. The Society also organises workshops and there are often Plein Air painting opportunities in the Summer. The Society aims to present two EXHIBITIONS each year in Winslow where members can show their artwork to the public.
