The Winslow And District Art Society (WADAS) has been a thriving arts group for more than 30 years. Membership offers the opportunity to meet others with similar interests also friendly support and encouragement with artistic endeavours. Anyone over the age of 16, interested in the visual arts, is eligible to become a member of WADAS subject to the payment of a modest annual subscription. The costs quoted below are for the period : Oct. 2025 to Sept. 2026 FULL MEMBERSHIP £40 per person annual fee JOINT FULL MEMBERSHIP £45 per couple annual fee (husband/wife or partner) An adjusted subscription rate applies to those joining mid year The above annual subscription enables the member to enter art work to WADAS art exhibitions on payment of the appropriate modest hanging fees (and 10% commission on all sold items to WADAS) The subscription also covers members attending our monthly demonstration and speaker meetings. Workshops are run occasionally and attending members are asked to share the cost. Non Member VISITORS are welcome to any of our monthly demonstration meetings on payment of £5 per meeting. Painting Groups are charged by the term at a rate to cover costs of room hire etc and currently run at the equivalent of £3 per week. It is not usually necessary for us to increase subscriptions year on year and increases are only considered when we are faced with large rises in either hall bookings, or speaker and demonstration costs. Subscriptions are payable direct to the Treasurer, It is not a requirement, but we prefer members to pay their subscriptions by bank transfer, and details can be obtained from the Treasurer.
